I have tried so many things that I may have missed listing some. Waiting for months for an update to fix the problem.Exporting to see if a rendered file would show any errors.Downloaded the HVEC plugin/codec off the Microsoft store.Enabling "Use Optimized Media if Available".And will constantly do this throughout the rest of the clip. It mostly works, but then I still get the occasional "media offline", but it lasts for several seconds before returning to normal. I mentioned the "media offline" flashes every other frame. So, I have tried changing the fps in the project and timelines between the two. The clip is 60fps, even though the file properties within Windows Explorer say it's 59.94fps. The video clips play normal when watching them on my computer via any media player. This is also consistent across all the clips I'm currently editing, which are Hi8 footage that has been digitized to. I've exhausted about every option I have found via Google Search and YouTube, but with no luck. But this summer, when I started working on it, I opened up Davinci, dropped my footage in the timeline, and then this happened immediately. I never had this problem before when using Davinci. I call it a living so stop trying to take my living away, please.I consistently get every other frame as "media offline" with the project I'm working on. This whole process has been a bad headache and clients don't care what your problems are. I miss using my CS6 suite but being on a new iMac with High Sierra, Adobe does not allow me to update the CS6 media codecs. I hope someone has a good one soon as I am behind in my deadlines. Now curious I went to Premiere CC2017 and brought up that project only to notice I had audio but no video. Premiere Pro Templates DaVinci Resolve Templates Apple Motion Templates. I then went back to my project that originally had the Media Encoder showing the Red no media image and tried again where it showed the same Red no media image. I am a cautious guy who has spent too much time editing to accidentally toss it away so I did a copy of the two media folders to an external drive, then emptied the two described folders to empty and threw the trash away.
